Value : Love and Care for our Motherland

Independence is one of the biggest blessings of God. Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zest at the Prep Boys Section, Darakhshan Campus. A play was organised in which the students paid tribute to dynamic national heroes like Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Abdul Sattar Edhi and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The theme of the play also paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for our better and safer tomorrow.

A patriotic dance performance was staged by the students dressed up in white shalwar kameez and green stoles on Faakhir’s “Tere Bina Dil na Lagay” to help the crowd get into the spirit of Independence.
A speech was made by one of the students on the “Journey of Pakistan” in which he expressed the need to put in individual efforts to make Pakistan a better place to live in on a global level inculcating the values of love and care for our motherland.
In the end, ‘Sohni Dharti’, the legendary patriotic song was sung by male teachers with live music which mesmerized the crowd.
