    Ref: TCS/HO/CIR#001/2020                                                                                Date: Aug 10, 2020

Introduction

The education of all City School students has adapted and adopted to take into account the ‘new normal’. We all hope you are safe and hope that the ‘old normal’ returns soon. We know both our students and teachers are missing each other and missing working together within a school environment. Under these difficult conditions our Microsoft School status has helped us in making the best of the learning time online, through the City School blended learning platform. We have managed to deliver 16 weeks of online classes, but we also know that we could not have achieved this without your help. We appreciate all you have done to make online learning accessible and successful for your children, our students.

August 10 – September 14 Online Live TCS Curriculum

Our unique curriculum will be delivered online through live teaching and by using a variety of digital resources. The following resources from March onwards are available through links which will be provided by your child’s teachers.

·         Weekly Worksheets 2020-21

If your child has missed any lessons from March 2020, resources for these topics are made available as mentioned above.

Blended Learning (Homework)

Weekly worksheets will be uploaded on the ‘Assignment tab’ on the MS Teams platform by the relevant subject teacher.

The ‘Class Notebook’ feature of MS Teams platform will be used to share any message related to homework assignments, in addition to assignment tab.

Students/parents who are unable to access these resources due to internet related or any other issue, can collect hard copies from school office. Your child’s class teacher will contact you to make necessary arrangements.

·         If students can type directly on to the worksheet, they can upload their responses using Teams assignment tab.

·         Once the homework is uploaded on MS Teams, teachers will check and leave feedback for the students on the assignment tab
