Independence Day Celebration

Value : Love and Care for our Motherland

Independence is one of the biggest blessings of God. Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zest at the Prep Boys Section, Darakhshan Campus.

A patriotic dance performance was staged by the students dressed up in white shalwar kameez and green stoles on Faakhir’s “Tere Bina Dilna Lagay” to help the crowd get into the spirit of independence.

Interesting facts about Pakistan were shared by the students on the “Journey of Pakistan” in which they also expressed the need to put in individual efforts to make Pakistan a better place to live in on a global level inculcating the values of love and care for our motherland.

In the end, ‘Ye Watan Tumhara Hay’, the legendary patriotic song was sung by the staff with live music which mesmerized the crowd.

English Elocution Contest

  Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others and the use of exact speech and gestures. To enhance the oratory skills of our students, an ‘English Elocution Contest’ was conducted by the Prep Boys Section on Thursday, 12 April 2018. A healthy competitive spirit prevailed amongst the contestants. Keeping in mind several factors which are adjudged during a competition, the children focused on aspects like voice quality, speech, content and delivery.

Two English teachers from Senior Section were invited to be the judges. They selected first, second, third and consolation prizes from each level. The participants showed their confidence, expression and talent. The honorable judges, parents and guests really appreciated and applauded the efforts of the students. The result is as follows:

Science Fair 2018

Science exhibitions encourage students to think out of the box and be creative and inventive. It makes them enjoy Science and just not take it as a mere subject. The Prep Boys Section organised a Science Exhibition on Friday, 16^th October 2018. Students put up an array of exhibits and a number of working models which depicted the scientific and technological talent of the students. This event was an evidence of the students’ understanding of the value of Science in everyday processes and experiences. It also helped students to relate and retain the scientific concepts more easily. Winners of the competition are as follows:
