Robotics Club
In
order to boost the students' problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, and
technical knowledge in an engaging and collaborative way, The Prep Boys Section
successfully started the Robotics Club from Monday, 12th February
2018 where students will learn how to set up and assemble small robots. It is a
three months course where classes are held twice a week after school in the ICT
Lab. It is fascinating to see our students taking keen interest in performing this
activity.

The Prep Boys Section believes in celebrating the success of its students. We proudly share the achievements of our talented students.
Ali Salman of class 7 wrote a story 'Kindness Wins Hearts' which got published in the Young World of Daily Dawn for which he was rewarded with a cheque of Rs. 4000 by the newspaper.
Faizan Shakoor of class 8-N secured 1st position in CEATS Mathematics at school level as well as district level. He also received a Bronze badge for his outstanding performance in IKSC 2017-18.

Maths Quiz 2018
Quiz-games organised repeatedly prove
surprisingly useful in reducing the general repugnance to Mathematics. These contests also improve the
capacity to solve problems. Keeping these benefits in mind the Prep Boys
Section organised a Math quiz on Wednesday, 7th February, 2018. Eight
teams comprising of three students each competed against each other. Several
rounds which consisted of Mental Math and Problem Solving questions were
conducted. The audience was fully engrossed in the proceedings. In the end the
Percent team was declared the winners with Log team grabbing the 2nd
position and Gamma team securing the 3rd position.

Field Trip 2018
Enriching field trips contribute to the development of students
into civilized young men and women who possess more knowledge about art, have
stronger critical-thinking skills and have a greater taste for consuming art
and culture. Students of Prep Boys Section were taken to Nueplex Cinema on
Thursday, 1st February, 2018 to watch movies related to their
curriculum. Class 6 was shown “Matilda”, Class 7 “Phantom Tollbooth” and Class
8 got to watch “Hobbit”. Students as well as teachers were excited about the
movie screening. Upon reaching the venue students were seated according to
their sections. After the movie the students enjoyed KFC in the food court. All
students, as well as the staff, had a great time and parents also appreciated
the school for such a well planned event.

Mehfil-e-Milad
The City School grooms their children in the most positive manner
that is through the teachings of our Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H). The Prep Boys
Section organised a spiritual Mehfil-e-Milad on Thursday, 25th
Jaunuary, 2018. It started with the
recitation and translation of the Holy Quran followed by a touching Hamd. Several
poignant naats were recited by the students which mesmerised the audience. The milad
ended with dua and sweets were distributed among the students and guests. The Principal
praised the efforts of the staff and students.
