Charity Drive 2015

In order to practically engage the students in community service activities and make them develop the empathy for less fortunate fellow beings, a charity derive was organized by the students of class 8. The Community Service members started the collection drive a month ago where they went to different sections of the campus, encouraged students about their drive and manged to collect a large number of old books, toys and stationery items from entire campus. They then made gifts packets out of these collection and finally donated these to a charity school in Neelam Colony on 23rd November 2015. 

Members of community service along with Ms. Ghania and Mr. Faisal went to the school and presented the gift to students of  grade 1, 2 and  KG. The rest  of the students  watched this event through Skype in the school.

Value Education Showcasing 2015

Along with helping the students to achieve academic excellence, it is the objective of The City School  to inculcate ethical, moral and social values in our students to groom them into responsible citizens and good human beings.
 On November 20, 2015,The City School  Darakhshan Campus Prep Boys Section organized The Value Education Showcasing event in which the students participated enthusiastically. They sang songs and read their own poems related to different values.

The grand parents of classes 7 & 8 were also invited to this event of rhythm  and rhyme and  the students paid tribute to them and presented them with flowers, cards and souvenirs.

Principal, Mrs. Durrani, also presented Mr. Chaman  the money that was generated by the students at the Maths Carnival for his charity school.
